Oceania is a geographic region in the Eastern and Western hemispheres that is home to fourteen countries with an estimated population of 41 million people. This region has a varied combination of economies ranging from the highly developed economy of Australia to the less developed economies of the islands in the South Pacific ocean.
The only additional developed country in the region is New Zealand, which in conjunction with the United States and Australia, assists the small pacific nations with economic trade.
